1) Please take a picture of your sketchup model (In Sketchup, go to "File", then "Export", then "2D Graphic") and upload it to the website by creating a "New Post" and using the "add image" button.
2) Look at the images below (which we talked about a couple of weeks ago) and answer the question "What does this make you think of" by clicking on the "Comment" link on this post.
What does this make you think of?
Some questions (you don't have to answer all of these, but they can help you answer the main question):
- What's the story behind these pictures?
- Is it the same place? How can it be the same place?
- Which picture came first?
- What happened to the people who were living in there first?
- Where might you know more people?
- Where could you more easily find a place to get groceries, or make friends?
- Where would there be more things to do?
this makes me think of the way that things in the world is going on now. like how they tear down all of these peoples houses just to make things better for the richer people.the people that were living there first probably were givin a cheap deal and were forced to move and a worst quality neighborhood.there would be more things to do in the busy picture.

THESE PICTURES MAKE ME THINK OF PEOPLE LOSING THERE HOMES FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED PLACES TO WORK.
When I look at this I think of the families. I wonder where do they all go and how its not fair because nobody asked for their opinions. It kind of like today how companies are going out of business and leaving people without jobs.
ReplyDeletethe story on this picture, it is the same place.They just have torn homes down just to build businesses around there. so basically they paid people to take their homes down so that they can make businesses around there.b the picture at the botttom with all the homes is the picture tat came first. thats ther story on the pictures.
ReplyDeleteIts like missing up a city to put houses in it for people to live. I think they should of just kepted it with the big buildings and stuff because it might had of been better because of the river that is there to that might have a chance of killin those people that lives there in those homes now.
ReplyDeletewhen i l00k at these pictures it makes me think how they can just destroy people homes and jobs then jus built something over it to seem as nothing ever existed there. these represent change to me. Not a good change either
