Assignment 3: Complete by Monday March 23

Last week we talked about what we liked about North Minneapolis. For this assignment, we'll answer questions about what we might like to make better.

So the questions to answer are "What would you change or improve?" and "How would you do it?"

You can answer by writing a comment to this post, or by making a new post showing what some of your changes might look like (for example, a map showing where some things you would fix are, or where you would build something new, or a photo or an animation of a building you might make).

Some thoughts that might be helpful in answering the questions and designing your improvements:
  • What things need fixing? (you can answer by writing a comment here)
  • How could you make them better? (you can answer by writing a comment here)
  • Where are those things you would fix? (you can make a new post with a picture of a Google Earth map showing those places)
  • What would a change look like? (you can take a picture or a post a movie of a SketchUp model showing the change you would build)

    I think the streets and abandoned houses need to get fixed. The streets need to get repaired and cleaned. Its also alot of houses on the northside that are boarded up and those need fixing too.

    I would change the sidewalks and the houses. i would do it by doing what we is doing right now which is making a blueprint.

    i would have to say i want to see less or gone is abandoned houses and pot holes in the streets i think the best way is to use google sketch up like what were doin now to show them how we want it down

    i agree with antoinete cause its crazy how people live in the middle of two boarded up houses. and that makes it easier for drug transactions and that all needs to stop. we could make them better by fixing them

    i would change the whole broadway remodel it cause every thing on broadway look old and raggedy so i say the whole broadway needs improvement

    what needs to be fixed about this home.Is everything, there is nothing good about this home. actually this whole hood needs a little change.A little cleaning.

    i wouldnt do anything i would fix only things that need to be fix like the streets, its so messup
